Avalon Organics, Friend or Foe?

Confusion in a nutshell!!! OK, so I’m getting ready to write my post on Avalon Organics Awapuhi Mango Shampoo/Conditioner and I’m making sure their statement plays nice with their ingredient list…not so much folks. Organic Consumers will take you to a little placed called “liar liar pants of fire”.

Avalon Organics Shampoo and ConditionerI found this contradiction on the bottle of Avalon Shampoo/Conditioner that I own. The bottle clearly listed the use of parabens and grapefruit seed extract which are the two ingredients now listed on their website as one’s not included in their line.

Although they have rearranged their labeling and have now stuck to following the rules they still have left a bad taste in my mouth. If you read the entire article in Organic Consumers you will see other brands that claim to be organic when they’re truly not.

Lesson to be learned when purchasing anything with the word “organic”: Don’t be duped by the dupers or fooled by the fancy businessmen dressed in organic farmers clothing. Try to do some research before making that next purchase.

Thanks for the info. I used to have a bottle of Avalon Shampoo but didn’t buy the second bottle - just didn’t think the product was great. But it is disgusting to know that some ‘organic’ manufacturers are fooling the consumers… that’s why it is always important to read the list of ingredients before making a purchase, even it the product claims to be ‘organic’. Thanks for visiting my site.
