A Green Bed and Breakfast, Organic and Earth Friendly in Florida

I just got back from a spectacular, spur of the moment, mini- vacay to West Palm Beach. This was our second trip this year and it was wonderful as always, here’s why.
Markus and I discovered the Tropical Gardens Bed and Breakfast in May of this year. Steve and Evie are the owners of this little oasis which is ideally located in the historic district, where peace and quite are treasured.
Our very first visit was magical. When we arrived Steve and Evie gave us the tour, the heated pool is surrounded by lush greenery, birds of paradise, hibiscus and passion flowers. There is also a tropical tiki bar where one can enjoy a nice glass of wine or frozen daiquiri.
The environment is laid back and comfortable, every breakfast we had was honestly 4 star worthy. This past weekend the greeting and food were amazing *like always* but something was different.
I learned that Steve and Evie have made a fabulous decision to GREEN their B & B! Everything from fruits and veggies to toiletries and laundry detergent. They even have organic vegetarian and vegan breakfast options. Yessss! After you’re all settled in and full of breakfast check out West Palm and their eco-activities.
Markus and I decided to go snorkeling at MacArthur Beach State Park, it was great! Amazingly my 20 minutes of swallowing salt water and trying to “Zen” my breathing as Markus put it, didn’t damper the situation. So fun times had by all!
Overall the trip was great and we were glad to see our friends. I suggest greening your stay, you’ll truly feel like family.

It seems you had a great breakfast. People say it’s the most important meal of the day but for me it’s the worst. Sometimes I don’t even have breakfast. I know…shame on me.
